Our Vision
Founded by Jae Chanel in 2020 and embraced by our community, My Black Is Everything is rooted in creating a joyful, empowering, and inclusive experience for youth age 15 and under from diverse backgrounds. Through this annual community event, we cultivate belonging, confidence, and pride while celebrating diversity and promoting self worth. Our vision is to create spaces where young people feel seen, valued, and encouraged to rise above bullying and social barriers.

At "My Black Is Everything," we strive to instill in our children the belief that their skin is beautiful, their voices are powerful, and their lives are invaluable. Through this event, we envision a brighter future where every child feels seen, heard, and uplifted, contributing positively to their communities and beyond.
