Our Vision
Founded by Jae Chanel in 2020 and embraced by our community, "My Black Is Everything" envisions a future where every child from low-income families and foster care youth, regardless of ethnicity and aged 15 and under, experiences a day of joy, empowerment, and inclusivity. Our vision is a free annual community event that not only provides essential resources but also cultivates a sense of belonging and pride among our youth. By celebrating diversity and promoting self-worth, we aim to break the cycle of bullying and societal barriers.

At "My Black Is Everything," we strive to instill in our children the belief that their skin is beautiful, their voices are powerful, and their lives are invaluable. Through this event, we envision a brighter future where every child feels seen, heard, and uplifted, contributing positively to their communities and beyond.
